Centre for Language Education and Multiliteracies Research (CLEMR)
The Centre for Language Education and Multiliteracies Research (CLEMR) is dedicated to advancing language education and providing professional development for educators across Hong Kong. Since its establishment, the centre has been committed to enhancing the quality of language teaching and learning through research-based practices and innovative approaches.
Over the years, CLEMR has collaborated with over 900 primary and secondary schools on various projects commissioned by the Education Bureau, the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR), and the Quality Education Fund (QEF). These partnerships have enabled the centre to support schools in implementing effective language education programs and fostering continuous professional development among teachers.
Through its extensive network and collaborative initiatives, CLEMR continues to play a pivotal role in promoting excellence in language education, helping schools develop comprehensive language curricula, and supporting educators in their pursuit of pedagogical innovation and improvement.
