Programme Objectives
This programme is designed to help secondary-level English educators in Guangdong modernize their teaching and tailor their curricula. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
Keep abreast of the latest trends in English language learning and teaching.
Deepen understanding of the latest ESL teaching theories and translate them into classroom practices.
Select and adapt e-learning resources to enhance language learning and teaching.
Develop skills in designing school-based English language curriculum to suit the needs of their students.
Cultivate a habit of professional reflection to continuously improve teaching outcomes.
Programme Content
The curriculum is structured around three core learning areas designed to provide comprehensive professional development.
1. Latest Methodologies in ESL Teaching
Focuses on practical, innovative techniques to elevate daily classroom instruction:
